AgenticPocket privacy policy

This policy explains what AgenticPocket collects, stores, and does with your data. The short version: the app collects nothing, has no server, and keeps everything on your phone.

What the app does not collect

• No accounts — there is no sign-up and no login.
• No telemetry or analytics — the app does not send usage, crash, or performance data anywhere.
• No advertising or ad trackers
• No server — the app does not talk to a backend operated by us, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent.
• No data sharing — we do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone.

What the app stores on your device

AgenticPocket stores the following on your phone, locally, and nowhere else:

• Settings — your preferences (theme, dynamic colour, whether you completed setup).
• Profiles (personas) — the personas you create, including their character, voice, and memory.
• Knowledge base — documents you add for the assistant to draw on.
• Server and tool (MCP) configurations — the names, endpoints, and models of the remote servers and tools you connect. API keys you enter for these are stored in the Android system's encrypted shared preferences.
• Downloaded models — GGUF model files you download for on-device inference.

On-device vs. remote inference

You choose where inference runs:

• On-device — when you run a downloaded GGUF model locally, your prompts and outputs never leave the phone.
• Remote — when you connect a remote server (for example Ollama, LiteLLM, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint), your prompts are sent to that server, which you choose. AgenticPocket does not proxy, log, or store those requests. You are responsible for the privacy of the service you connect to.

Back up and restore

The "Back up & restore" feature lets you export your settings, profiles, knowledge base, and server/tool configurations (including API keys) into a single file, optionally protected with a password, and restore them on another device or after a reinstall. The export file is written to a location on your phone that you can reach from a file manager; the app does not upload, share, or transmit it. You decide where to take that file.

Permissions

• Camera — only when you choose to capture a photo for the assistant to look at.
• Microphone — only when you choose to speak to the assistant (on-device speech-to-text).
• Storage — to download and read model files and to write the backup file.

These permissions are requested on demand. The app does not access the camera or microphone in the background.

Deleting your data

All of the above is stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it. You can also clear individual items (a persona, a knowledge document, a server configuration) from the app at any time.

Children's privacy

AgenticPocket is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
